Car DVD Systems
Car DVD systems are a great way to begin that long and laborious trip this summer. Everything has been carefully planned – the house is being watched, the dog is being lovingly pampered, and the bags are packed to go. The kids, yes, the kids are fastening their seatbelts for that safe and happy journey, right? Unfortunately, it slipped your mind that you have to entertain your treasures in the back seat for that tiring and possibly boring 23-hour drive.
What will they do? How can you ensure your total sanity and their peace of mind all day and all night? Obviously, like most parents this is a very familiar scenario, right? Age doesn’t mean a thing when you’re a kid stuck in the backseat of a car for hour after hour. Boredom and frustration is absolutely sure to set in. Thankfully this type of vehicle system is the key. Have you got one?
Maybe you’re not completely versed with such wonderful car accessories. I am not talking about the antiquated t.v. plugged into the dash’s cigarette lighter. I am referring to a modern, compactable system that most modern vehicles come with typically as standard. If you have wandered through your local auto malls recently you will notice that most mini-vans and other vehicles come complete with a DVD system.
They are a cool and wonderful accessory that has a flip down screen, so your backseat passengers can be quietly entertained with a film or two. Unfortunately you are driving so you cannot watch, but usually all the controls are a fingertip length away on your dash. That way you have full control and put in that cartoon or film the kids love until you safely get where you are going. Keep in mind though that the sound will be running through your speakers, so you at least get to listen.
Now is the perfect time to get into the fast lane with a new system. Wouldn’t a bit of sanity and a pleasant movie solve the boredom? Not to say this is a cure for all with kids, but it would cut down on the grumbling and debates that we have all experienced. However, even if your vehicle did not come with car DVD systems as standard, installation is not that expensive. For good deals and a variety of options do a quick search on the Internet.
