where do you find the "Back Tap" spark plug re-threading tool?
I've been searching the web, and cannot find the "Back Tap" tool for sale in Ontario, Canada anywhere. I'm looking for the 12mm size. Snap On sells something like it but looks like only in the States. Any help appreciated.
If you can't find that particular tool you might try taking a spark plug to the hardware store and just purchase a tap the size of the spark plug. Match the thread pitch by laying the tap against the spark plug.
When re-taping the hole, put a light grease on the tap to catch the metal shavings and don't wind it in too far so that it falls into the cylinder, mark it with tape or something, the tap is longer than the hole is deep so don't over do it. Make sure the piston is down.
