myclearcoat is seedy after being sprayed, sanded and buffed can I recoat it or will it still show through??????
I sprayed with a HVLP gravity feed gun it has a water trap, desicant snake and another water trap at the gun followed by another filter and it was regulated at the gun. Im not sure what caused it other parts sprayed prior to the car turned out fine. It buffed out smooth except for the seedy look in the clear coat and it is not oragne peel(cause I sanded it all out) !?!?!?!?!?
Not quite sure what you mean by seedy. There is such a thing as solvent pop, which occurs when you use to fast of a reducer on warm days or too many coats applied too quickly. Sometimes it is possible to sand and recoat w/clear, but I have seen it go the opposite way and you end up dusting a couple of paint coats to hide these imperfections.
