Air Impact Sockets

and from behind my ear and to my jaw still hurts on one side. Its sore during the day but if I eat the pain gets 100 times worse to the point that I almost scream in pain when I breathe the air hurts it . The pain usually goes away within 30 minutes to an hour with rubbing and a heating pad on it. I went to my surgeon today cause I cant take the pain anymore. All he did was look in with no tools or even a light and said you have TMJ! ( tmj is something with your joints he said) I was like its not a dry socket he's like no but he didn't even take a second look or do an x ray he said take an inflammatory pill and go get fitted for a night guard.I have never had pain in my jaw ever until my wisdom teeth started coming in and when I asked if this is caused by wisdom tooth removal he said no. Does it sound like I have a dry socket or infection my surgeon didn't seem to give a crap about what I was saying like I was lying HELP!!
