This sounds REALLY weird but a guy using a flat iron?

My mom has a Belson Pro..i have no idea if its the cheap one or not

my hair is fluffy curly at the moment (but its usually wavy)
if i apply the flat iron to my hair right now using nothing, what happens?

would it be straight or would it not work? can you guys help? i dont even know how to use one lol...im just tired of my hair being so poofy

im trying to get it straight/flat at the front of my hair and the back of my hair
but on the sides of my hair im trying to make it curve (like wavy), how can you do that?

First, turn it on, it should have buttons with heat. Using the buttons, decide how high you want the heat to be. If you have thick hair and curly/wavy hair, use the medium or high setting. Now, wait till it heats up, grab a small 2 inch section of hair, brush it, and put te hair straightener at your roots (where the hair starts growing) and press it down on your hair with your hair in between the plates, beinh careful not to burn yourself. Slowly and arefully run it down your hair. Once is fine. Do that for all of your hair and comb it. Add some texturizing cream if you dont want it too look straightened and want a piecy look
