looking for a 5-sided, torx-type,tamper-proof socket or screwdriver tip, about t25?Could be called a TS screw?
I would like to open the case on an external hard drive, a seagate, not the h/d itself but the vented alum. cover over it and it's transformer/p.supply, switch, etc It has 4 small recessed screws, about t20 or t25, but they are 5-sided star female, definitely oddball. I'm a mechanic, I have many bits and sockets; none 5-sided.It's tamper-proof, as well with the stub in the center of the opening on the screw, so grinding a flat head to fit won't work. Because it is sensitive, I don't want to drill the center stub out of the screws and then, hope to get them out with a flat head screwdriver. I've searched and found that the bit might be callled a TS bit, not a Torx. Please, would some electronic wizard or someone in another country, that uses 5-sided, star-type, female, tamper- proof screws, help me find a tool to remove these screws..

EDIT - What about taking it to a Mercedes garage? someone will have the tool as it's needed for some merc wing mirrors - I'm sure you'll find a mechanic willing to help another mechanic
