What is the flushing noise my car is making?
My car has started making a noise when I first start it. When the engine starts running I can hear what sounds like liquid circulating. When I rev up the engine it sounds like water running down a drain (or draining from a washing machine).
There is no puddle underneath the car after this has happened.
I do know that my battery will not charge so I obviously have a dodgy alternater. Also, I have a leak somewhere in my heating system as I have to constantly have to fill up the water cooling tank. I have used some Radweld which has stopped any overheating but still I'm losing a bit of water.
Any help would be appreciated, along with an idea of how much it would cost to fix.
