Best digital piano option for classical playing?

I am in need of a digital piano for a decent price with great touch and sound. I play mostly classical and baroque music and have neighbors so need to plug in for my sound. I have focused my search on Kawai's at first though I hear good things about Rolands. I definitely do not need any of the bells and whistles for those interested in performing, recording, or making it sound like anything besides a good grand piano. I was almost sold on the ES-4 Kawai last week but decided to think it through a bit more... it makes it hard that Kawai wont let their dealers quote prices over the phone as well. I have found an entire set of digital piano, bench, and stand for under $2,000 so that is definitely my max ...

I really believe Yamaha Clavinovas are best. The price range varies. Mine is a $3,000 instrument, but I am a piano teacher and need all the bells and whistles so to speak. I know there are Yamaha digitals out there under $2,000. Possibly even some Clavinovas for that price.
Look for a Yamaha delaer in your area. They will have access to the top of the line, but maybe to the lower models as well. Or you might try your local Music and Arts store. http://www.musicarts.com I was just in my Music and Arts store this morning and they had 3 digitals all under $2,000. Just be sure you ask to see their line of Digitals not the keyboards.
Good luck to you!
