Help me to solve the following problem noticed while trying to install UMAX scanner?
I have not been using my scanner for a while now, and now when I try to run the scanner I was informed of the following details.
1) The interface card is not installed properly: Whaat does it mean,what is interface card, how do i access it.
2) The interface card address conflicts with others: What does it mean,and how do I get this address.
3) The SCSI cable is not firmly connected from interface card to the scanner: I dont know what this cable is.

The messages you're getting relate to the SCSI card that was installed in your system along with the scanner. You've added something to your computer that's trying to use the same settings as the SCSI card, and it's causing a conflict that prevents your scanner from working.
The SCSI cable connects the scanner to the SCSI card on the back of your computer. Check both ends of the cable and make sure they're firmly attached.
You can get the address of the SCSI card from Device Manager, which will also tell you what it's conflicting with. You'll need to remove either the SCSI card or the device causing the conflict, or change the settings so they don't conflict any more.
Might be time to call in a pro, i.e. take it to a shop. You kinda need to know what you're doing to be able to fix something like this.
