How would you react if someone started/joined in with a conversation with you on the tube?

it's happened to most people, when you get an unwanted addition to a conversation, in the form of a stranger.

If someone started a conversation with me I'd happily chat to them, I think most people would. If they butted into an existing conversation, however, I'd politely ignore them probably. It all depends on the context of the conversation and what they say really. I like chatting to people, even strangers though. Some people are more self-conscious and want to be left alone. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
