What to say when someone is abusive?

I'm on this forum, and this particular chap is just insulting me for no reason other than he disagrees with me. He's telling me to 'f off', 'shut the f up' and 'get a life' along with other more obscene things. What's the best way to deal with this? Should I just ignore his posts? Ask him what his problem is? It's pointless trying to reason with him anymore because he's just not listening. Peace

He obviously has nothing better to do than insult people-- ignore him, he wants the fight, that gives him his jollies.
