I have a list of dog foods I want a second opinion can you please help me with rating them?
In other words which do you think is the best out of the list?Here it is
1.Beneful Harvest
2.Blue buffalo
3.By nature adult dog food
4.Canidae platinum canned formula
5.Eukanuba medium breed formula
6.Iams adult small and toy formula
7.Merricks
8.Ol'Roy
I currently feed my 2 dogs a female 5 year old Yorkie Pomeranian mix and my 4 1/2 year old 3 legged female white poodle-bichon mix Royal Canin which we purchase from our vet for $75 per new bag but i'm looking into something else thats less pricey and also good for my dogs. People on here keep telling me that Royal Canin isn't a very good brand and my vet gets paid by that company to sell it. What do you feed your dogs?Any help is greatly appreciated!Thank you!

I will give you my personal ratings 1-10 based on ingredients.
1. Beneful- 1 Corn, byproducts, fillers, dyes
2. Blue Buffalo- 7. Good quaility but overpriced. Many higher quality foods are cheaper. Available at Petsmart which may be the only game in town for some people.
3.By Nature- 7 Pretty solid food without junk ingredients.
4.Canidae Platinum - 6. This food is for seniors which I find a gimmick. The regualar PAWS version is an 8.
5. Eukenuba- 3 Poor quality ingredients for high quality prices.
6.Iams- 2 Corn, byproducts, fillers
7. Merrick- 8 Good quality ingredients used.
8. Ol'Roy- 1. The worst dogfood you can buy.
You can check out www.dogfoodanalysis.com for their reviews with lengthly explinations. If you read enough reviews, however, you will find the site isn't very consistant.
I personally have fed Canidae, Innova, EVO, and Orijen.
