how do i fix my laptop when all it does is flash colors?
when ever i turn my laptops on it flashes red, blue, green, white, and black and i cant do anything
Try with an external monitor. If you can see ok on an external, the issue is your lcd panel.
shut down, take battery out and no power adapter, wait 1 minute.
turn on immediately hit f8. See if it will load in safe mode or low video resloution mode. Can you see anything or is it the rgb? If you can see in safe mode or low res mode, you can try to reinstall the video driver. Go to the mfgr's web site. Go to the drivers page.
first install notebook system software or it's equivalent reboot
2nd install intel chipset or it's equivalent if its an amd or nvidia chipset reboot
3rd install video card reboot
if it doesn't work after that, it's a bad motherboard
