How bad is it for a 6 cylinder car to run on only 5 cylinders?

While trying to replace old rusty spark plugs, one snapped off. I'm taking it to the mechanic tomorrow to get it drilled out and the rest replaced (we got the first one out but no such luck on the second one and decided no to try with the rest) It's a 6 cylinder 1992 Buick century. I'm just curious how bad it is for my car to drive with just 5 functioning cylinders. (and don't worry it won't postpone the repair)

Driving with one cylinder not firing will allow raw fuel to enter the crankcase past the piston rings and dilute the oil causing severe engine damage if driven enough. Unless you were to unplug the fuel injector to that cylinder.
