SOMETHING IN MY EYE? help please.?

Sorry for the caps, I just want to make sure this isnt serious. I was putting on my eyeliner about 15 minutes ago, and a felt something fall into my eye. It felt like it could have been a sliver of wood or something from my eyeliner pencil. It felt painful, and I moved my eye around a little/blinked then I didnt feel it anymore. I dont think it just fell out of my eye, I would have seen it. I dont feel it, and my eye isnt really bothering me. I lifted up my eye lid and looked everywhere, I dont see anything. Is there any way that it could have gotten behind my eye or something, and could do damage? Or is it just gone? Should I just not worry about it, and see how it feels tomorrow? I used eye drops and flushed out my eye in case. Thanks in advance.
