Distribution block fuses keep blowing?
My distribution block keeps blowing first i had 40s or 60s in there and then it blew twice so i bought 80s or 100s and it was good for a long time and then it just blew one again today... I dont understand this? Is it because i have 2 fuses but only one amp hooked up right now and all the power is forced through the one fuse instead of both? Or do i need to get higher fuses again? Because my main concern is i just got a 4000watt peak hifonics amp for my kickers and rtight now im running a 1500watt 5 channel so im afraid when i have more power going to a amp im gonna have this problem more? ALthough im upgrading to 1 guage wiring? Just give me the facts like if i keep going higher in the fuses and it wont break it is that going to be dangerous to anything on my system? Or is my new 4000peak watt amp gonna blow these instantly because so much more power coming through or what?
The main fuse should be the total of all fuses on all amps on that line.
