How do I remove my in-dash tweeters in a 1997 Plymouth Breeze?
They are totally blown and just piss me off, and I just want to remove them so they don't rattle and annoy me anymore. Also, does anyone know where I can buy an adapter plate type thing for my front 6.5" speakers? The factory speakers are connected to a thing that extends out to screw it on and I want to know where I can buy one to replace my front in door 6.5" speakers soon.

I have a neon and they seem pretty similar. In mine you can pop off the top section of the dash (not the whole thing there is a section separate where the tweeters are). Then just cut the wires, tape em off for good measure.
Most speakers come with the hardware needed to mount the speakers, I installed new 6.5s and they brackets included fit perfectly in my door. Check out sonicelectronix they have good deals.
